Back in January, on a surprisingly crisp day for Australian summer, we woke before dawn and drove down to the Mornington Peninsula, along the windy coastal roads, trying to beat the sunrise and catch its first rays on the water.
As we started shooting and the sun came up from behind the cliffs, filtering through the clouds, the water was rough and waves crashed unforgivingly against the black, raw lava rocks. Beautiful model, Emel, was definitely the most brave on this morning, and wasn't afraid to get her feet wet and cold.
The dresses are made and designed by Gwendolynne, stunning and delicate with most intricate detailing. It was such a pleasure to play in these for the morning.

I am so grateful to have been able to work with and learn from such talented and creative women - it definitely made up for the lack of sleep and warmth. An extra special thanks to amazing photographer Julia for letting me assist and style this shoot.
